in the World
This year, Danteatro celebrated the Week of the Italian Language in the World with an entertaining theatre training session led by Eleonora Ginardi, and inspired by Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy.

Eleonora Ginardi is a performing artist and educator with broad-ranging experience. She has trained in physical theatre, Impulse Response Training, Practical Aesthetic, Viewpoints and Butoh dance. After studying acting and education at QUT she completed a Masters in Professional Performance at the University of the Sunshine Coast. A member of Zen Zen Zo, heartBeast Theatre Company, Access Arts and Ad Astra Theatre Company as well as Danteatro, Eleonora works with artists of all ages and abilities, seeking always to nurture their self-confidence through her work.
In our workshops, led by Eleonora Ginardi, you will experience a physical and vocal workout and you will explore the fundamental principles of making theatre.
The training sessions, supported by Danteatro will allow the participants to develop the confidence and flexibility needed on stage.
Eleonora’s workshops are inclusive classes, delivered in English and open to all levels of actors, directors and creatives.

Danteatro’s workshops are free of charge for members of the Dante Alighieri Society Brisbane. You can become a member at the workshop, or by completing the form and payment online beforehand (read about membership fees and benefits).
