Remembering Sicilian writer Leonardo Sciascia

Come and celebrate the life and work

Sciascia’s novels (historical and detective fiction) are well known and widely celebrated, so we have chosen to remember him on this occasion through his less known work as poet and playwright.
Tiziana Miceli (Danteatro) will introduce the geographical and family context of Sciascia’s life and works, and Danteatro will perform readings of a poem and excerpts from a play, and a Sicilian song.
The event will be mostly in italian,
with a brief introduction to the play and poem in english
